Tell us more about yourself and how you first learned about crypto?

I first started to learn about crypto through a friend, and since it intrigued me, I did some research on my own. I have been trading since 2015 but at that time, I only did this offline since crypto was still not yet warmly accepted in the Philippines. During the pandemic, when a lot of Web3 games such as Axie boomed in my country, I was able to become more open to sharing my journey and experience about crypto trading.

How do you balance educating your followers about crypto with maintaining their engagement and interest?

I try to maintain how I interact with my community wherein I speak in Tagalog since most of my audience are from the Philippines. I use primarily English for my tutorials or guides, but during streams, I mainly focus on the gameplay and the fun aspect of it.

Can you discuss some of the most creative ways you've used to explain complex crypto concepts to your followers?

I often relate what happens to the crypto world in similar everyday situations so that it is easy for my community to digest, whether it is in Tagalog or English. There are a lot of terms that may be new to those who do not know crypto, so I remind myself to re-introduce these terms and reduce them to layman’s term so that when I discuss things, no one gets left behind with the discussion and could possibly spark interest and maintain engagement regarding crypto.

What’s the difference between doing a crypto campaign and a non-crypto campaign?

Since I dabble in different kinds of things in my career such as gaming or cosplaying, I believe the difference between doing a crypto and a non-crypto campaign is the time aspect. Crypto, as we all know, is very volatile. Marketing can only do so much in an extent, and campaigning for crypto must be well done in order to catch the attention of the masses and be convincing enough for people to invest on.

Can you discuss any notable collaborations or partnerships you've had as a crypto influencer?

With my prior experience in hosting, I have conducted a few AMAs (Ask Me Anything) with different influencer members of the crypto community, whether it is a developer talking about a new Web3 game or a marketing officer talking about their upcoming token that they are currently minting. The most notable collaboration, at least for me and my community, was the one with Jihoz, one of the co-founders of Axie Infinity.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to become a crypto influencer?

Make sure to use your words wisely and back up your statements with well-researched knowledge. I know it is easy for people to become hooked on something once money is involved, but as crypto influencers, we have a responsibility to seek the truth and analyze the data based on the ongoing trends. Choose the right thing, not just for yourself, but for your community as well. Let us bring each other up.

If you were a crypto token, which one would you be and why?

As cliche as it might sound, I would like to be Bitcoin. It is a token that has been present for the longest time and has changed a lot of lives and made members of the crypto community make more honest transactions. Personally, I still have an ongoing goal of helping others and become as transparent as I can towards my purpose in life.

We've just given you the rundown of what it's like to be a crypto influencer and it's not for the faint of heart. But don't let that discourage you, it's also a wild ride full of rewards. The crypto community is growing at a rate faster than a rocket ship to the moon, and we can't wait to see what happens next as more people jump on board the blockchain bandwagon.
